The inn Ledinek or Inn Šmarna gora has for many years been considered as the synonym for ričet (barley and bean stew with smoked ham). We still hang on to the traditional mark, but besides the ričet-lovers we have gained popularity also with lovers of jota (yota) and sauerkraut with buckwheat žganci and a true certified Carniolan spiced pork sausage. With these dishes our daily menu offers daily struklji with tarragon and cottage cheese struklji as well as apple and sour cherry strudel and gibanica (layered pastry with poppy seeds, walnuts, apples, raisins, and cottage cheese filling).
At weekends the number of visitors increases therefore the choice of available dishes is also bigger. The usual weekly offer is upgraded with the mushroom soup, beef soup with home-made noodles, cooked beef or roast pork with fried potatoes and several salads.
The offer, of course, changes with the seasons. In the spring we offer dandelion salad with egg and hot potatoes, later sour milk with buckwheat žganci, dishes made of asparagus, wild garlic, mushrooms, pumpkins and courgettes and blueberries. In the time of St. Martin's we roast ducks with red cabbage, in the end of the autumn you can also try the first blood sausages.
